Breeder Boundary & Stewardship Statement Our Registered Nubian breeding program is founded on long-term stewardship of genetics, health, and breed integrity. Once a goat leaves our care, all responsibility for management- Including nutrition, parasite control, housing, biosecurity, and veterinary care – transfers fully to the buyer. The breeder is not responsible for outcomes related to environmental changes, stress, or management differences. We reserve the right to decline sales, place resale or breeding limitations, and protect our herd name and Nubian genetics. Purchase from this program constitutes agreement to these boundaries.

Animal Identification, Price & Payment Terms Breed: Registered Purebred Nubian Registered Name: ______________________________________ Registration ID:________________________________________ Purchase Price: $_______________________________________ Deposit: $ ____________________________________________ Balance Due By:________________________________________ Buyer/Breeder will honor deposits of their Nubian kids, although seller/breeder reserves the right to retain any Nubian for our farm's breeding program.
Registration Seller guarantees the animal is eligible for registration with the American Dairy Goat Association. Registration papers will be transferred only after full payment has been received.
Non-Refundable Deposit Seller/Breeder requires a non-refundable 50% deposit of the asking price of a Registered Nubian. A 75% non-refundable deposit is required for does that will be bred. Buyers will be allowed to name the Nubian if not registered yet only if the Nubian has been paid in full.
Boarding & Feed Fee A boarding and feeding fee of $25 per goat per month will be the responsibility of the buyer. This will only apply to Nubians over the age of 4 months old. Nubians will only be held for a maximum of one month unless otherwise indicated in this contract.
Health Disclosure The animal is sold in good health at the time of sale. Seller discloses all known health information. No additional health guarantees are expressed or implied after the animal leaves Seller’s care.

Breeding & Reproductive Disclaimer If sold as bred, pregnancy will be confirmed by lab blood work at the expense of the buyer and is guaranteed only until pickup. Seller is not responsible for pregnancy loss due to stress, transport, illness or management after leaving Seller’s property.
Performance Disclaimer Milk production, show results, growth, body type development, and reproductive performance are influenced by genetics and management. Seller makes no guarantees regarding future performance.
Buyer Responsibilities Buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, minerals, parasite control, housing, veterinary care and appropriate biosecurity suitable for Nubian Goats.
Seller Follow Ups Seller does occasional follow up to check how the Nubians are transitioning and to offer support to the buyer if needed.
Time For The Nubian To Prove Themselves Nubians vary in maturity based on genetics. Seller intends to give the Nubian at least 2 years to prove themselves before moving them on to another herd. Nubians form attachments and transitions can be stressful for them. Although, sellers understand hardships or a life changing events can occur and the Nubian has to be rehomed sooner.
First Right of Refusal If Buyer chooses to sell, transfer or rehome this animal, Seller must be offered the first right of refusal. Seller shall have (2 weeks) to respond. Repurchase price shall not exceed the original purchase price, excluding transport, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No Slaughter Clause This animal shall not be sold, transferred, or consigned for slaughter, auction for slaughter, or meat purposes. Violation of this clause constitutes a material breach of contract.
Transport & Risk of Loss Sellers are willing to accept transport of their Nubian Goats but to only reputable transporters. Risk of loss transfers to Buyer at pick up or delivery handoff. They prefer their Nubian Goats will be picked up at their farm. Sellers do at times transport their goats for buyers for a reasonable transport fee. Brand and CVI fees are the responsibility of the buyer. The brand and CVI fees need to be paid 1 month prior to transport. Transport is not rushed. Time is needed to a make preparation for transport.
Vaccinations Sellers do not vaccinate their Nubian Goats born on their farm. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to vaccinate them if they wish to do so.
Cancellation of Sell We reserve the right to cancel any sale for any reason.
Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by the law of the State of New Mexico.
Entire Agreement This document represents the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller.
