Our Nubian Goats
Sales Policy

Rancho de San Isidro Sale Contract
Update: 4/2/25

Sales Application

We dam raise our Nubian Goat Kids. They will be ready to go to their new homes once they are weaned at 3 1/2 months.  We do not sell bottle babies.  No exceptions.

We will honor requests for our Nubian Goat kids, although we reserve the right to retain any kid for our farm's breeding program.

We are willing to accept transport of our Nubian Goats but to only reputable transporters. We prefer our Nubian Goats be picked up at our farm.  We do at times transport our goats for buyers for a reasonable transport fee. Transport fees and CVI fees need to be paid in full  1 month prior transport. Transport will not be rushed.  Time is needed to make preparations for transport.

Currently, we do not transport our goats out of the country. We may consider this in the future when we have more time available

Nubian goats transported out of state will need a Vet Inspection/Certificate & a Brand Inspection/Certificate in order to be transported across state lines. Currently, the vet inspection cost is  $60.00 and the brand inspection cost is $11.00.  Both inspection fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Nubian Goat Kids registration & transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer. All these fees are required to be paid in full one month prior pick up and transport. Our vet is very busy.  We have to schedule vet inspections a month in advance.  Our vet takes time to call the state the animals are being transferred to.  This is why we require our animals to be paid in full a month prior to transport out of state.

We do not vaccinate our Nubian Goats.  It will be the buyers responsibility to vaccinate them if they wish to do so.

We care for our animals dearly and we hope they go to good homes. Nubian goats form strong attachments.  We hope our goats find farms that will keep them for at least 2 years.  This gives them time to prove themselves. If you have the tendency to turnover your goats quickly we ask that you buy your goats elsewhere.  It saddens us deeply when we see goats that have been recently bought and are quickly sold soon after they are purchased.  Raising dairy goats is a commitment.

Our Nubians are healthy when sold. We are not responsible for illnesses, injuries or death once they leave our farm. We ask as a courtesy, that if you buy any animals from our farm, if you decide to rehome them, please notify us before you rehome them.  We may want to buy the Nubian back or might be able to help rehome them.

We are more than happy to offer support for potential buyers and buyers after they purchase goats from us.  We have been blessed with support from other breeders and wish to offer support to others as well.

The main reason we created our farm is to raise food naturally for our own family.  We want to offer quality and healthy livestock to others.  We are also doing preservation breeding of Black Mesa Ranch, Six M Galaxy & Goldthwaite lines.

We reserve the right to cancel any sale for any reason.

If you are interested in buying goats feel free to call or email us to get more information at 575-686-8297 or [email protected].
