We take requests for unborn Nubian kids and take deposits once Nubian kids are born. Deposits need to be received 10 days after the buyer is notified that the Nubian kid of interest is born. If payment is not received within 10 days the buyer's request will be forfeited.
To reserve a Nubian Goat Adult or Kid we request a non refundable deposit. The deposit is 50% of the asking price of Nubian Goat. Please mail the deposit with the Rancho de San Isidro Sales Agreement signed. Deposits will not be refunded on canceled orders. Buyers that will have their Nubian Goat Kids transported will have to pay the full amount of the Nubian Goat 1 month prior to transport. We only accept money orders and checks through mail and only cash payments when animals are picked up at our farm.
We dam raise our Nubian Goat Kids. They will be ready to go to their new homes once they are weaned at 3 months. We do not sell bottle babies. No exceptions.
We will honor requests for our Nubian Goat kids, although we reserve the right to retain any kid for our farm's breeding program.
We are willing to accept transport of our Nubian Goats but to only reputable transporters. We prefer our Nubian Goats are picked up at our farm. We do at times transport our goats to buyers for a reasonable transport fee.
Transport will not be rushed. Time is needed to make preparations for transport.
Currently, we do not transport our goats out of the country. We may consider this in the future when we have more time available.
Nubian goats transported out of state will need a Vet Inspection/Certificate & a Brand Inspection/Certificate in order to be transported across state lines. Currently, the vet inspection cost is $40.00 and the brand inspection cost is $10.00. Both inspection fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Nubian Goat Kids registration & transfer fees are the responsibility of the the buyer.
We do not vaccinate our Nubian Goats only in the case of emergencies. It will the buyers responsibility to vaccinate them if they wish to do so.
We care for our animals dearly and we hope they go to good homes. Nubian goats form strong attachments. We hope our goats find farms that will keep them for at least a year. If you have the tendency to turnover your goats quickly we ask that you buy your goats elsewhere. It saddens us deeply when see goats that have been recently bought and are quickly sold soon after they are purchased. Raising dairy goats is a commitment.
We tested our goat herd Fall 2020 and Fall 2021 for CAE & Johne's Disease. All our goats tested are negative for CAE & Johne's Disease.We plan to test our herd for CAE & Johne's Disease in June 2023.
Our Nubians are healthy when sold. We are not responsible for illnesses, injuries or death once they leave our farm.
We are more than happy to offer support for potential buyers and buyers after they purchase goats from us. We have been blessed with support from other breeders and wish to offer support to others as well.
The main reason we created our farm is to raise food naturally for our own family. We also want to offer quality and healthy livestock to the others.
